Celso Silva,
M.D. |

Celso
Silva, M.D., is a board
qualified reproductive
endocrinologist. He
completed his residency
in Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Brown
University / Women and
Infants Hospital in
2003, and most recently
completed a subspecialty
fellowship in
Reproductive
Endocrinology and
Infertility at the
University of
Pennsylvania. In
addition, Dr. Silva
completed a two-year
residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Sao
Paulo’s Santa Casa
Medical School in
Brazil, and
post-graduate research
training in Reproductive
Medicine and Infertility
at Brown University.

Dr. Silva
has published several
peer-reviewed articles
in many leading
scientific journals, and
has been invited to
present at national and
international meetings.
He has won many teaching
and scientific awards,
including the “David H.
Nichols, M.D. Award” for
excellence in pelvic
surgery, the 2004
American Society fro
Reproductive Medicine
“In Training Award”, and
the 2005 Society for
Gynecological
Investigation
“President’s Presenter
Award”. His interests
include assisted
reproductive
technologies,
pre-implantation genetic
diagnosis, the impact of
aging on infertility,
and germ cell biology,
and his research has
been supported by the
National Institutes of
Health Research Training
Program in Reproductive
Medicine.
Dr. Silva
is active in a variety
of medical societies
including the American
College of Obstetrics
and Gynecology, the
American Society for
Reproductive Medicine,
and the Society for the
Study of Reproduction.
He serves on several
hospital committees, in
addition to serving as
Society for Reproductive
Endocrinology and
Infertility Associates
Co-Chair.
